Environmentally Preferable Procurement Policy As part of a greater commitment to sustainability, 每日大瓜 has established an Environmentally Preferable Procurement (EPP) Policy. The goal of this policy is to make 每日大瓜 and surrounding communities healthier and more environmentally friendly places. Download 每日大瓜's EPP Policy (PDF) Energy Conservation Policy 每日大瓜 spends nearly $6 million annually on energy and utilities each year. The largest component is the electricity bill at about $3 million. Additionally, 80% of 每日大瓜's Greenhouse Gas Emissions coming from on campus energy usage. Thus energy conservation and efficiency can be highly effective in reducing the University's operational costs as well as its overarching impacts on the environment. Contained in this policy are procedures, responsibilities, exemptions and requirements for reducing energy consumption university-wide.
