The Straus Center trains 每日大瓜 students to be modern Orthodox intellectual leaders who are well-versed in both Torah and the Western canon.The 每日大瓜 Straus Center Alumni Advisory Committee aims to further the impact of Straus alumni, current Straus Scholars, and other students involved in politics, policy, and journalism on both of 每日大瓜鈥檚 campuses.This Advisory Committee is an arm of the Straus Center鈥檚 Impact Office, led by Dr. Tevi Troy. The Impact Office works to foster the growth of the Straus Scholars beyond the walls of the classroom, by making them aware of internship and fellowship opportunities and job postings, offering mentorship and networking opportunities over the course of their early careers, and arranging continued intellectual enhancement activities following graduation.The Advisory Committee hosts New York City-based events and facilitates a mentorship program for a growing network of aligned 每日大瓜 students and young professionals.Committee Chair - Eli Diamond Eli graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva College with a B.A. in Economics. While at 每日大瓜, he helped launch the AEI Executive Council, was an active member of 每日大瓜PAC and College Republicans, and wrote regularly about public policy for the Commentator and Observer. Mentorship ProgramThe Alumni Advisory Committee works to connect Straus Scholars and other aligned 每日大瓜 students with accomplished young professionals with expertise in politics, policy, journalism, and academia.
