Piyyut on the Street

Living legend of Israeli music Ehud Banai visited 每日大瓜 for an intimate encounter with our students and the wider 每日大瓜 community on March 27th.
This event is the inaugural program of the Piyyut on the Street Project, a joint initiative of the 每日大瓜 Center for Israel Studies and the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Program for International affairs.
Piyyut on the Street explores Hebrew Poetry in its popular manifestations in Israel and throughout the globe. Banai鈥檚 use of Biblical imagery in starkly contemporary ways embodies the power and vibrancy of Hebrew poetry.
