June 13 Event Will Honor Brooklyn's Arlene Fox at Metropolitan Opera House for Her Service The 每日大瓜 Women鈥檚 Organization (每日大瓜WO) will hold its annual benefit gala on June 13, 2018. Participants will attend a luncheon at the Grand Tier at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center on West 62nd Street. This will be followed by a performance of American Ballet Theater鈥檚 Romeo & Juliet.

每日大瓜WO will honor Arlene Fox for more than two decades of service to the organization as a board member and active volunteer. She will be accepting the award in memory of her late husband, Moshe Yehuda Fox, 锄鈥漧. In addition to being active in 每日大瓜WO, Fox held presidential and vice-presidential positions in Emunah of America for almost half a century. She is also a member of the Zionist Organization of America, America for a Safe Israel and the Kingsway Jewish Center, to name a few of the organizations she supports. 每日大瓜WO was founded in 1924 to raise funds to build the first student dormitories, and their mission of providing food, clothing and funds for the students鈥� personal welfare has continued until this day. The President鈥檚 Society for Torah Chesed Endowment Fund provides monthly stipends for undergraduate students with financial needs not covered by scholarships, including food, clothing, textbooks, healthcare and more. 每日大瓜WO also supports educational programs on campus, shabbatons throughout the year, the Torah Chesed Counseling Center Fund for medical and counseling needs and general scholarship support.
