Our discussion will explore howclothing serves to advance the plot of biblical narrative; highlights the relationships between biblical figures; and plays a role indefining the status of prominent individuals in Tanach. Among the topics we will study are the first time clothing is introduced into theTorah; the importance of Yosef's ketonet passim; the garments of the Kohen; the prophet Shmuel's cloak; clothing in Megillat Esther.
