 Gemara: Psychology in the Talmud with Mrs. Ariella Broth

In this course, we will explore assumptions the gemara has about human nature and psychology. Through our learning, we will discuss how these impact the Jewish system of law and the practical implications.

 

 

Women, Memory, and the Sheish Zechirot with Rabbi Duvie Nachbar


Motzai Shabbos: 8:45 - 9:45 p.m.

March 1- April 5

This series will explore each of the Sheish Zechirot - Shabbat, Yetziat Mitzrayim, Ma'amad Har Sinai, Amalek, Cheit ha'Eigel, and Ma'aseh Miryam - and its importance as a focal point of national memory and consciousness. In addition, each shiur will investigate each Zechirah's particular applicability and unique halakhic parameters as it pertains to women.


 

Siddur Kiddushin Part 2: An In-Depth Look at Key Wedding Halakhot with Rabbi Gedalyah Berger 


Description: We will trace the development of several essential, practical halakhot under the chuppah, including issues concerning the ketubah and the sheva berakhot.
