Jessica Accurso-Salguero, Ph.D. Executive Director and Clinical Associate Professor Jessica Accurso-Salguero's Bio Jessica Accurso-Salguero is an academic leader committed to transforming lives through access to academic excellence. She specializes in the student success landscape, including the transitional period between high school and college. A champion of faculty and students, she brings a wealth of experience in teaching and leading academic success programs, designing curricula, and implementing systems to help students succeed and navigate institutional hurdles. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration, leadership management, and policy from Seton Hall University. She received her M.A. in English and language literacy and higher education from New York University and her B.A. in English and Spanish secondary education from Montclair State University. Over the last 15 years she has taught in the K-12 system, at community colleges, and at four-year universities. She is a published author on several higher education topics and is a national speaker on student success initiatives. At ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s Katz School, she directs all undergraduate programs, including the AS in Management, the AA in Liberal Arts, and ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï summer session. Professor Michael Mandel Clinical Assistant Professor of English Michael Mandel's Bio Professor Michael Mandel Professor Mandel is in his first year at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï. He is responsible for the students in the Liberal Arts Cohort as an advisor in both academic and administrative roles. As a teacher of Composition and Rhetoric, English Literature and Business Writing, Mr. Mandel is an integral part of the foundation in the continuing education of ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Maccabee undergraduates.Professor Mandel is a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School, a Bachelor of Arts of St. Michael’s College (where he earned a full scholarship for basketball), Master of Education of William Paterson College and is in the progress of earning his Doctorate of Letters from Drew University.He has taught at Fairleigh Dickenson, Seton Hall and Kean Universities in New Jersey and has over 30 years of experience. In his spare time he is a professional ski instructor, a high school basketball official and a proud grandpa. Robert Allen, D.B.A. Instructor Robert Allen's Bio Robert Allen, D.B.A. Dr. Allen is a seasoned academic and business professional with over 20 years’ experience in business development, marketing, technology management, corporate training, and college instruction. His areas of expertise include marketing, business management, personal finance, computer technology, audio production and engineering, MS Office applications, and qualitative research. His current research interests include strategies for integrating and sustaining disruptive innovations in small businesses; transitional dilemmas of adopting distance learning in traditional colleges; and leveraging IT resources to gain competitive advantages. Dr. Allen holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, an M.S. in human resources management, a B.S. in organizational management, and an A.S. in electrical engineering. He teaches courses in management, marketing, finance, economics, computer applications, and algebra. Malka Sigal, M.S.W. Adjunct Instructor Malka Sigal's Bio Malka Sigal, M.S.W. As program manager for undergraduate education, Malka Sigal supports all undergraduate programs at the school, including the recruitment, retention, academic advising and graduation of undergraduate students. Malka has been at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï since 2010, as both a student and an employee. Before joining Katz, she served as the Stanton Fellow in ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s undergraduate Office of Student Life, where she liaised between and university departments to facilitate student events.Malka obtained her BA in physics and Jewish studies from ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s Stern College for Women. She obtained her MSW and is currently pursuing her PhD at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Malka has experience in theater production, video editing, and layout design. Her best obsolete skill is DVD authoring. Liteshwar Rao Clinical Assistant Professor of Mathematics Liteshwar Rao John O’Malley, M.A Instructor John O’Malley's Bio John O’Malley, M.A John O’Malley spent over 35 years as a manager in the luxury retail sector in store operations and sales at Macy’s, Barneys, and Sakes Fifth Avenue. In addition, for over 25 years he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in business, marketing, and management at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Now at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s Katz School, he teaches courses in business management, strategy, ethics, and organizational behavior.John holds an M.A. in Religion/Religious Studies from Fordham University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Long Island University. Agnese Gangadeen Instructor Agnese Gangadeen Debra Inger, M.B.A. Instructor Debra Inger's Bio Debra Inger, M.B.A. Currently a partner in a laboratory equipment service agency, Debra Inger has over 35 years of business experience in both large and small corporate environments. After serving as controller for the subsidiary of a publicly traded company, she broadened her talents by managing profit center divisions in the HVAC and then laboratory equipment industries. A dedicated teacher passionate about educating future business leaders, Debra shares her broad-based business experience through relatable examples with business students and associates.
